Week Twenty-Two – 5 Months Old
Wednesday, January 7th, 2009It was a busy week. On Sunday, December 21 Madeline did a couple of things she had never done before. She reached for Andre’ and also her bottle. On Monday, she grabbed her feet for the first time and then later in the week she figured out how to get her feet in her mouth. They’ve since become one of her favorite chew toys. The other milestone is she’s learning to blow raspberries and this keeps her amused (and us too) for much of the time.
This week we also celebrated our first Christmas together and Madeline got to open her first presents. Each time she seemed to get better and better at pulling on the paper.
And finally, on Saturday, she "enjoyed" her first rice cereal meal. It went over better than expected since we managed to finish the feeding without us all being covered in it.
