Week Twenty-Nine
Madeline had an adventurous week. Sunday was an absolutely gorgeous day and we decided to take her to the park and see if she would enjoy the swings. She seemed to and watched the kids who were on swings next to her. She started to mimic them by pumping her legs back and forth. Of course we took video of this and it’s below.
This week also marked the week she started rolling over in her crib. Jennifer found her Friday at the end of her nap on her tummy looking up with excitement over the crib rails. After almost every nap or nighttime sleep now, we find her on her tummy. We also started giving her treats in her mesh feeders. She has tried ice and cantaloupe both of which she seems to enjoy.
She is also now communicating by squealing. She squeals when she is happy or upset, playing by herself or with you, being held or wanting to be held. Who knew that something so small could be so loud (oh yeah, parents)?!!
