Week Forty-One ~ Madeline Goes Swimming
Things are starting to get crazy around here and our daughter loves it. We think she realizes that she can go anywhere we can go now and she follows us around a room and is fairly quick too. You have to watch out for her. If a baby gate or door is open, she will escape and have fun doing it. She can also walk across a room when we’re holding her hands. It’s just a matter of time before she won’t need us for that any longer.
We decided to take Madeline swimming. Grampa-pa-pa and Gramma were in town and staying at a hotel with an indoor and outdoor pool. It seemed like a great time to let her try this out and a great thing for the grandparents to watch. She was not sure about it at first and fussed a bit. There were older kids in the pool splashing and yelling and Madeline does not like load noises. But she warmed up to it and started to have a blast. She even fussed when we took her out of the water.
