Week Forty-Six
Madeline is changing at a very fast pace and it seems that one of us is noticing something new each day. Madeline has started clapping when she’s really happy or excited. She seems to understand that it means you approve of something.
She is also starting to carry on a conversation, granted her word or words is the sound “bah bah bah.” But if she is in the mood for conversation, she will say “bah bah bah” and you can repeat the sound back to her and she will reply. She will sometimes even giggle like you’ve just said something really funny. There are also times when you can start the conversation by saying “bah bah bah” and then she will respond to you. But as Uncle Jason found out, she will not respond if you say “ta ta ta,” “la la la” or any other similar sounding phrase – maybe Madeline only speaks Sheep.
