12 Month Appointment
Madeline had her 12 month appointment a few days after her birthday. The doctor said that she looked great and gave her permission to try all foods (but please don’t feed the baby)! 🙂 He also gave us the go ahead to start transitioning her to cows’ milk.
She weighed in at 22 pounds, 11 ounces (76%), measured 29.25 inches (56%) in length, and has a 18.5 inch (93%) head. So in one year she has gained 14 pounds 7 ounces and grown 8.75 inches in length and 4.5 inches in head circumference. That’s a lot of work for such a little girl!
She also received a couple of shots and got her toe pricked so they could check her hemoglobin. That did not go over very well!
